Campus Portal

The Campus Portal is a comprehensive service platform that integrates HIT’s digital resources, serving as a key gateway for campus news, administrative services, websites, and information systems.

Access via PC: New students can visit http://i.hit.edu.cn using a browser on the campus network.

Mobile Access: The HIT Mobile App provides mobile portal services.


Campus E-Map

Provides navigation and location services for Harbin’s main campus, including building search, facility locations (dorms, dining, shopping, transport, medical, etc.), and campus unit guides.


Email Service

Each student receives a free @stu.hit.edu.cn email account (username = student ID).

Activate via the Freshman Registration System.

For third-party clients (Outlook, Foxmail, HIT App, etc.), a unique client-specific password (16 characters, case-sensitive) must be set:

Log in to the webmail → Settings → Personal Info → Email Password → Client-Specific Password → Generate.


Licensed Software

HIT provides free access to officially licensed software, including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and other commonly used applications, purchased centrally for all faculty and students.

Access: After enrollment, visit the Licensed Software Platform (http://ms.hit.edu.cn) via the campus network and log in with your UIA credentials to download and activate software.
