The campus card of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) is one of the intelligent identity credentials for teachers and students on campus. It is uniformly managed by the university and available in two forms: physical card and virtual card (referred to as Gongfu Code). It has the following main functions:


Identity Authentication

The campus card of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) is one of the intelligent identity credentials for teachers and students on campus. It is uniformly managed by the university and available in two forms: physical card and virtual card (referred to as Gongfu Code). It has the following main functions:


It is used in scenarios including campus entry and exit, access to buildings (dormitories), library book borrowing, and exam check-in.


Financial Payment

It supports payments for dining in canteens, bathing in public baths, shopping in campus supermarkets, taking campus buses, using sports venues, and paying for campus network services.


The Gongfu Code enables cross-campus payment in canteens of HIT campuses and research institutes located in Harbin, Shenzhen, Weihai, Zhengzhou, and Suzhou.


City Transit Function

It can be used to take buses and subways in more than 300 cities across the country (supporting interconnection of national transportation cards).


It offers a 10% discount on buses and ferries within Harbin urban area.
